Job Description:
Housekeepers are responsible for keeping a medical facility or institution clean, sanitary, and well-maintained in accordance with federal, state, and local health codes and regulations. Housekeepers will be responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of specific facilities.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for all patients and residents by organizing work load for the housekeepers, conducting weekly audits, and other assigned duties given by supervisor.
• Clean, mop and sterilize all designated areas. When a patient moves to another ward or is discharged, housekeepers disinfect the room with specialized cleaning agents to prevent the spread of germs.
• It is the housekeeper’s responsibility to maintain a good appearance of the windows, doors, curtains and other surfaces, as well as a sanitary environment.
• Sterilize sinks and toilets, and mop all floors. It is also their responsibility to report any areas that require repair to supervisors or maintenance staff.
• Housekeepers must work toward adhering to federal, state and local health codes and regulations to ensure a hygienic, safe and healthy environment.

Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide nursing care to mentally ill, emotionally disturbed, or mentally disabled patients in a psychiatric hospital or mental health clinic and participate in rehabilitation and treatment programs.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Helps patients with their personal hygiene, such as bathing and keeping beds, clothing and living areas clean
- Takes and records measures of patient’s general physical condition, such as pulse, temperature, and respiration, to provide daily information
- Observes patients to detect behavior patterns and reports observations to medical staff
- Intervenes to restrain violent or potentially violent or suicidal patients by verbal or physical means as required
- Leads prescribed individual or group therapy sessions as part of specific therapeutic procedures

As a caregiver you are responsible for all of the activities of daily living, you will plan and assist with daily living skills as needed for each resident in a facility homelike setting.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide patient comfort and care by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients if necessary; answering patients call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to supervisor.
- Serve and protect the hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and Idaho standards.
- Caregivers are responsible for cleaning and maintaining residents’ rooms and doing residents laundry as required when scheduled and/or needed.
- Caregiver will help to maintain a clean and proper work place; inside as well as outside the premises. (Clean up trash, dump ashtrays, clean public restrooms, vacuum etc.)
- Caregiver will set-up, serve meals, and clean up after meals.
- Need to be Med Tech certified, as a caregiver you may be required to assist with medications as ordered or directed by the resident’s physician.

Job Summary

Essential
- Assist patients with personal hygiene: this may include changing linens, use of urinals, assisting to/from the bathroom, and incontinence care; helping with showers and baths (e.g., hair care, nail care, grooming).
- Assist patients with daily living: serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
- Provides adjunct care: providing ice packs / heat treatments, therapeutic or sitz baths.

We are excited to recruit a Chief Nursing Officer for our new Hospital Program!
The Chief Nursing Officer provides strategic leadership as the senior executive position responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions and services within the hospital organization. The role assumes responsibility for assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating nursing practice on a facility level. The role assumes 24/7 responsibility and has accountability to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. The Chief Nursing Officer represents the Nursing Department on the Governing Board and at medical staff leadership meetings.
Qualifications:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, minimum- Master’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience overseeing nursing departments preferred, but will train the right individual.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate
• Enthusiasm and experience recruiting, retaining, and developing staff.
• Effective in mentoring and developing staff and encouraging professional growth.
• Preference will be given to RNs with experience in the mental health field.
• Functions as a key member of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must!
